Gabrielle Waite: The rising star of Caribbean makeup and cosmetics

Gabrielle Waite has steadily expanded her makeup venture since its inception in 2017.

She learned makeup artistry from her mother and quickly became one of the most sought-after MUAs for soft glam looks.

Waite currently serves as the managing director of GabbyGlam Co and Carnival Glam Hub, the latter being the renowned carnival concierge glam agency and the first of its kind in the Caribbean.

"Our services have been trusted by more than 6,000 women to do their faces," she says. Carnival Glam Hub operates in Miami, Saint Lucia, Barbados, Trinidad, and Jamaica.

In addition to soft glam makeup application, Waite also offers a line of lip gloss, which she introduced during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite initial doubts about the practicality of lip gloss during the mask-wearing era, Waite reported selling out her first batch of 300 products within weeks of bringing them to market.
